Li Hairui and Himanshu Kathuria awarded a University Innovation Fund (UIF) grant

Jaspreet Singh Kochhar, a finalist of YPWLC in London

Jaspreet has won the First Prize of the annual Young Persons Lecture Competition (YPLC) 2012 in Singapore from May 10 to 11. So he will represent Singapore to take part in the 2012 Young Persons World Lecture Competition (YPWLC) in London, UK, on 5 July, sponsored by the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining (IOM3).

About Kang Lab

Our work is in the following two fields: tissue engineering and drug delivery. Work in progress are: Hydrogel microwell arrays to generate uniform microscale tissues for organ regeneration.  3D high throughput screening of extracelluar matrices using microwell array. Topical and Transdermal drug delivery using hydrogels and organogels.
